Kawasaki Motors is pleased to confirm that Matt Moss has joined the factory NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki racing team and will compete in the 2016 MX Nationals as well as the Australian Supercross Championships.

With countless titles under his belt, Matt Moss has solidified his position as one of the most tenacious and skilled riders in Australian Supercross and Motocross history. Following the recent close of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship, Matt joins the NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki racing team, where he will continue to pursue Australian Supercross and Motocross titles on the lighter, slimmer and faster 2016 Kawasaki KX450F.

“It’s a big change but a good change and I’m looking forward to it. I’m excited to start working with Troy Carroll, Kawasaki and a new bike. The team is structured well with great people working there and the KX450F is an amazing bike so the outlook couldn’t be better. Whenever I enter a race or championship, the aim is to win and I feel like that’s exactly what I’m going to,” said Matt.

“There aren’t any challenges at this stage. I’ve had a ride of the KX450F and I love it. The balance, lightness and power is absolutely amazing. Obviously we have a lot of time for testing and preparing the bike and myself but at this stage it all feel really good and I’m happy with it.”

“I’ve ridden on a team with Troy before and he helped me out a lot so I’m sure I’ll work really well with the team. There’s is no doubt in my mind that with the equipment and my drive to win that we can make it happened in 2016.”

“I feel like this year I was left behind in the competition with not trying enough things or doing different things so next year I want to work on that and I know that the team will do anything they can to make that happen which will play a big part in my chances at the titles,” Matt commented.

Australian motocross legend and Team Manager, Troy Carroll, said, “We’ve got the foundations in place with some of the best team mechanics in the game and I think that Matt and the new KX450F will make an unstoppable combination.”

“It’s fantastic to have someone who’s accumulated so many championships and who brings a lot of experience to the team. We’re looking forward to it. Matt is in such good form at the moment and we know that when he starts racing on the KX450F, he’ll make it a win every time he rides,” said Troy.

Matt Moss and the NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing team will follow an intensive training schedule between now and the 2016 MX Nationals which is due to start in April next year.
