Daniel Reardon (CDR Yamaha) – 7th overall:
Man, that wasn’t fun and at times it was almost unbearable. Everything was on track early in the day and I felt good, but everything changed when I crashed in the heat and what was my good shoulder popped out. It was a sharp, stabbing pain and it jolted through my whole body every time I jumped. RACESAFE said I could get a needle to deaden the pain, but if it wasn’t precise, then there was a chance my whole shoulder and arm would go numb and that would making riding even harder, so I just had to deal with it. Despite the pain, it feels so good to win this championship and to think this was even possible just 12 months ago was crazy. Thank-you to everyone at CDR Yamaha for taking a chance on me at the start of the year, my family, friend and partner for their support and to the promoters of the championship this year. Also, the team at RACESAFE as they continue to go a great job in assisting the riders and keeping us safe. This championship means a lot to me.
Kade Mosig (CDR Yamaha) – 5th overall:
That was the longest, most painful 20 laps of my life. The cut in my arm was deep so just even gripping the handlebars was tough and the opening laps I was unsure if I would be able to hang on through some of the sections on the track. It’s a tough way to end the championship but overall it’s been a good series for me and I’m happy to come second as that is the best I have finished in an Australian Supercross Championship. I felt I got better at each round and my riding improved from the start of the series. I want to give a special shout-out to RaceSafe for their work tonight. Simon and his team were able to keep me on track and as always, they do a great job. Thank- you to my CDR Yamaha team and mechanic Mike Landman and congratulations to Dan on a great series.
Lawson Bopping (DPH Peter Stevens Yamaha) – 1st overall:
Round six was a good one for me and a good way to end the year. I’m really pumped with the team and how my bike felt out there on the night.

Geran Stapleton (Wilson MX Penrite Honda) – 8th overall:
The weekend really didn’t go the way I planned to be honest. I was really pushing to finish on the championship podium but things didn’t really go my way. I had a crash during qualifying and I actually think I’ve broken my rear end, which made racing through the pain pretty hard. RACESAFE did a good job of getting me back out there but although I think I rode okay, I couldn’t ride at 100 percent. In the main I was taken out in the first turn but given the circumstances I’m still happy to have finished in fourth in the championship – it was great to be a part of Wilson MX in 2015.
Jackson Richardson (Wilson MX Penrite Honda) – 1st overall:
I’m stoked with the weekend, and it was awesome to finish the year out on such a high note. The guys at Wilson MX have made me feel very welcome throughout the supercross season and I’m very appreciative of the opportunity. To get the final race win of the year just topped off second place in the championship and I’m really happy with how everything has played out this year.
Jake Williams (Wilson MX Penrite Honda) – 13th overall:
It was a tough weekend again for me after being sick all week and having no real time to train in the lead up to round six. I had no energy at all and even though I pushed as hard as I could I just couldn’t keep up the race pace with being so sick. All in all, I’m stoked that I got the opportunity again to race with Wilson MX. Those guys make going to the races a lot of fun and I’m glad that I could be a part of this year’s Supercross series.
Jesse Madden (Raceline Pirelli Suzuki) – 6th overall:
It was a great weekend for our team and I’m stoked for Brock after wrapping up second in the SXD championship. The start of the day was tough for me, trying to get the flow of the track sorted and the whoops, they were big, but once I did I felt great. I managed to grab a holeshot in the main but first lap over the finish jump I made a little mistake that cost me four positions. I pushed through and finished in sixth so I was very happy with my result. My bike has been awesome all year and the boys did a great job prepping them and having them ready for me each time I went out. I’m stoked to have finished top ten in my first season of racing Lites – it’s been a crazy experience and I’ve learnt heaps. I can’t thank Chris Woods and everyone else involved for helping me out this season it’s been amazing, Raceline really is the best team and people to be around.
Wade Hunter (DPH Peter Stevens Yamaha) – 2nd overall:
It was a good weekend for me, I had some time off the bike due to injury and wasn’t feeling to confident so it was good to come away with second. It feels pretty good to come away from the season with two second place finishes in a row!
