Raceline Pirelli Suzuki heading indoors for round five

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki press release:

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki are preparing to take their race machines indoors, with round five of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship being held at Allphones Arena in Sydney tomorrow night.

With international Supercross stars heading to this weekend’s event, the Raceline crew will perform for a sold out crowd this weekend, providing the opportunity to show Australia what racing is all about.

For the team’s SX2 pilot Jesse Madden, round five will mark his first indoor Supercross experience, and says he is determined to improve on his results from last weekend.

“I’m so keen for this weekend. I’ve never raced indoors like this and I’ve definitely never hit a metal finish line jump so I’m really excited,” he said.

“From what I’ve seen the track is looking quite fun and it’s going to put us all to the test. There are some pretty cool sections and I’m looking forward to getting out there.

“Last round didn’t go exactly as I expected and I struggled a little with settling in to the conditions, but I’m hoping to improve this weekend, especially with such a big crowd there.

“I can’t wait to be behind the gates and myself and the whole team are feeling really positive.”

With the absence of the SXD class in Sydney this weekend, Raceline’s Brock Mcleary will line up alongside teammate Maddeen, after being granted a wildcard entry into the talent packed SX2 Class.

“I’m so pumped for this weekend’s race – it’s going to be my first time racing in the SX2 class as a wildcard, so I get to go out there, ride my bike and have some fun,” he said.

“Myself and the team are using this weekend as a good chance to test under racing conditions and try some new things in preparation for the final round in Melbourne.

“In the meantime though, this weekend is also about having fun and putting on a good show for the thousands of fans. It is really going to be a huge weekend of racing.”

The Raceline Pirelli Suzuki Team will now head to Sydney in New South Wales on November 28 for round five of the Australian Supercross Championship.
