Raceline Pirelli Suzuki has concluded the 2015 Motocross season at Coolum on the weekend, with MXD young gun Jesse Madden finishing fourth in the Pirelli MXD Championship standings. With a huge downpour of rain the night prior to the championship-deciding round, Raceline Pirelli Suzuki headed to the venue, unsure of how the Coolum Pines circuit would hold up.

However the team was greeted with sunshine and ideal conditions when they arrived, providing the perfect stage for Madden to put on one last impressive performance for 2015, while family, friends and supporters watched on.

After only getting the call up to race for the Suzuki backed privateer effort when New Zealand based Rhys Carter suffered a season ending knee injury, Madden put in a solid effort in 2015, topping off his season with two fifth places at Coolum, providing the team with fourth overall for the 2015.

The Raceline Pirelli Suzuki Team will now switch their attention to preparation for the 2015 Supercross season, which commences in October.

“My weekend was alright, I had planned on hopefully doing a bit better, but I just didn’t gel with the sand at Coolum as well as I thought I would,” he said. “All in all though, fourth place in the MXD championship is a pretty good effort, and I’m stoked on how the whole year has gone. “Jumping onto the Raceline Team after Appin was awesome, and without their support there is no way that I would have had the season that I’ve had. “I can’t thank Chris Woods, John Tisdale and the whole team enough for believing in me this year. They have provided me with awesome equipment, and I feel very lucky to have been given the opportunity to race with those guys for the 2015 motocross season.”

“All in all when the dust setlles, fourth overall in the MXD championship is a pretty outstanding effort,” he said. “The team was dealt with two injuries this year straight off the bat, and we were forced to find a replacement at the last minute, and we got very lucky with Jesse. “Jesse has grabbed this opportunity and been very professional over the last seven rounds, and especially in the MXD class where all of the guys are learning and developing, it was very impressive to see what he has done this year. “Even when we had some tough rounds, Jesse consistently went back to the drawing board to work on things and would come back every weekend, looking to improve himself. “As for the supporters and the sponsors of the team and also the entire Tisdale family, we simply could not have gone racing without them this year. We have had great bikes, and great products to work with, so it’s made our job a lot easier by having their support. “Given that we were meant to field an MX2 team, it was fantastic to have all of our sponsors stick with us, and to reward them all with a top five result is great.”
