New Australian Off-Road Champion Toby Price has been moved up from the Junior to the Senior Team for the upcoming 2009 running of the International Six Days Enduro, replacing recently injured Shane Watts in the event which is taking place in Figueira da Foz, Portugal from 12-17 October.

Motorcycling Australia (MA) would like to announce that Shane Watts has been forced to withdraw from the Wellard Australian Team competing at the 2009 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), which is taking place in Figueira da Foz, Portugal from 12-17 October.
Watts was seriously injured yesterday in a crash while setting up for a Riding School in Missouri, USA, fracturing his T-5, 6, and 7 vertebrae.
As a result of Watts’ withdrawal, the make-up of the Wellard Australian Teams for the 2009 ISDE has changed.
2009 Australian Off Road Champion Toby Price has been moved from the Junior Team into the Senior Team, while Nick Beattie has been elevated from being a Club Team rider and will now join the Junior Team.
