Monster Energy Australia’s freestyle motocross athletes have torn through X Games in Austin this past weekend, with phenomenal performances at the illustrious action sports event.

Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams had a strong showing in the prestigious Speed & Style event, dueling freestyle motocross royalty Nate Adams in the final. The duo proved to be a tight matchup, with intense block-pass action showering the battle before Adams took charge for the gold; Williams claiming silver.

“What a race! I gave it absolutely everything, had a mega battle with my Monster Energy teammate (Adams) and came away with the silver medal, so I have to be pretty stoked with that.”

“The nature of Speed and Style is crazy, I came over that first hit with a 360 and nearly spun my head straight into Nate’s back wheel!” Williams exclaimed.

Josh ‘Sheeny’ Sheehan competed in the inaugural and highly anticipated FMX Quarter Pipe event, performing an astonishing indian-air flair to secure a tremendously earned bronze medal.

Bilko now embarks on the Nitro Circus Europe ‘moto mayhem’ tour, whilst Sheehan will compete at the X-Fighters competition in Athens, Greece.
