Pirelli backed riders have confidently landed podiums across all classes, at round three of the 2015 MX Nationals in Broadford over the weekend.
In true Pirelli fashion, the company’s supported athletes in the MX1, MX2 and MXD class, all delivered top results at the country Victorian venue, recording a solid handful of stellar performances.
Sticking to their winning trend Pirelli once again dominated the MX2 class, with Serco Yamaha’s Luke Clout taking 2 from 2 Moto wins, to finish on the top step of the podium for the second time this year.
“Broadford can always be an unpredictable track, but thanks to Pirelli my job with tyre choice was made easy on the weekend,” he said.
“It takes more than one person to win races and to lead a championship, so I have to say, Pirelli plays a big part in that.
“With their support, hopefully I can keep getting the job done every weekend, and continue to build on this years championship.”
The success for Pirelli at round three didn’t stop there, with Clout’s Serco teammate Jed Beaton also finishing on the round three podium in second place. Both riders chose to race on Scorpion MX32, using the front 80/100-21 and rear 110/85-19 sizes for the Broadford round.
In the MX1 class, it was NPS Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Adam Monea who got the job done for Pirelli – taking second in moto one, and fourth in moto two, to finish in second overall for the round. For this round Monea chose Scorpion MX32 in 90/100-21 front and 120/90-19 rear for his podium result at this round.
In the MXD class, Raceline Pirelli Suzuki’s newest recruit Jesse Madden stepped up to the plate, taking holeshots in both motos, before finishing on the third step of the podium at Broadford.
