Raceline Pirelli Suzuki prepared and ready to take the MX2 class by the horns.
Raceline Pirelli Suzuki press release:
Raceline Pirelli Suzuki will head to round two of the MX Nationals in Appin this weekend, prepared and ready to take the MX2 class by the horns. At round one, the Raceline team showed potential with Rhys Carter claiming fifth in qualifying – proving he has the speed required to push for top five results.
Carter, who has just returned from his home in New Zealand, says he’s feeling confident with further testing and bike time under his belt since round one. “I’m really looking forward to this weekend. Previously I’ve had some really good races at Appin so it should be good.
“I’ve been figuring out how to ride the 250 again so it’s a bit a of a learning experience, but having more time on the bike has definitley got me feeling a lot more confident. “The goal for this weekend is either to be on the podium or around the top three, so hopefully we can finish somewhere there.
Team manager Jesse Wallace says he shares his rider’s confidence, and is optimistic that Appin will deliver the team with further positive results. “We are really excited for this weekend. We feel a lot more prepared for this round,” he said.
“We had a few little issues at round one, but they’re all sorted now and we’re ready to go. “Rhys has done a lot more riding back home in the last two weeks on the 250 and he’s feeling really comfortable so I think we’re in for a good weekend.”
The Raceline Pirelli Suzuki Team will head to Appin for round two of the MX Nationals on 12 April 2015. For spectator information head to www.mxnationals.com.au
