FFRC to field rising star in MX Nationals on MX 300.
Victorian up and comer Joel Milesevic has made the mid-season switch to the MX1 ranks ahead of this weekend’s Swan Hill round of the MX Nationals aboard a TM MX 300.
The unique decision comes as Milesevic secures additional support from the Full Force Racing Components team, so far enjoying the transition to the big-bore two-stroke.
“I am feeling good at the moment,” Milesevic said. “At the start of the season I went to Queensland to race Coolum and I rode the 300 for the first time and posted some good results on the bike an really enjoyed it.
“My season in mx2 hasn’t gone how I wanted it to I have been struggling with starts all season and It will be interesting to see how the bike compares to the factory 450 bikes.”
Milesevic, who will continue to contest the Victorian Motocross Championship aboard his Emu Racing TM MX 250 two-stroke, has more than welcomed the extra support from FFRC on the national scene.
For now though his main focus is all about this weekend’s national round at Swan Hill and riding to his full potential.
“I recently spent a week in Queensland testing the 300 and everything went really well,” he added. “I’m really happy with the bike and the suspension set up and felt at home on it straight away.
““I can’t thank everyone from Full Force Racing Components and TM Australia enough for everything they have done. My goal for this weekend is to get good clean starts and ride like how I have been practicing.”
Milesevic will join FFRC’s regular MX2 pilot Joel Evans, while former TM-mounted contender Daniel McCoy has made the mid-season swap to the Husqvarna Motocross Racing Team in place of the injured Nick Sutherland.
