CDR Yamaha rider Daniel Milner sustained a fractured right ankle in an incident last week, potentially ruling him out of this weekend’s fifth and sixth rounds of the Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship.

Milner was expected to line up at Sunday’s Wonthaggi round of the Monster Energy MX Nationals, however the injury denied him of the unique opportunity in the MX1 ranks.

The team is yet to confirm the extent of Milner’s injuries and CDR Yamaha owner Craig Dack was unable to comment this afternoon, but it’s believed they’re not yet completely discarding his chances of competing at Corner Inlet come Saturday and Sunday.

An official statement from CDR Yamaha is expected to be released tomorrow outlining the extent of Milner’s injuries.
