Motocross legend Stephen Gall has been confirmed as a team captain when the inaugural Baylisstic Scramble Teams Challenge takes place alongside MOTO EXPO Brisbane on 21-23 March 2014 at RNA Showgrounds.

Gall will join three-time Superbike World Champion Bayliss, triple Speedway GP Champion Jason Crump and World Supersport Champion/MotoGP race winner Chris Vermeulen as the event’s team captains.

“The Baylisstic Scramble Teams Challenge should be a great event,” Gall said. “It will be good riding with my team ates at the RNA Showground’s in the heart of Brisbane City.

“It is a great way to showcase motorcycle racing with some of the top riders from many motorcycle disciplines.

“I’ve already been testing and developing my 2014 Yamaha YZ450F and look forward to racing at the Taree Classic and MOTO EXPO Baylisstic Scramble early 2014.

“Both events are great concepts and its good to see so many past and present racers plus all the supporters enjoying dirt track racing.”

MOTO EXPO is set to be the largest motorcycle exhibition ever seen in Queensland. Visitors can expect to see latest products and services on display with up to 100 indoor exhibitors on display and an incredible interactive line-up.

Troy Bayliss Events general manger Mark Petersen said he was excited with the support received for both MOTO EXPO Brisbane and MOTO EXPO Melbourne (28-30 November 2014), including the recent addition of Kawasaki.

“There are exciting times ahead for the motorcycle industry,” Petersen said. “MOTO EXPO Brisbane and Melbourne 2014 will reshape visitor experience at motorcycle exhibitions within Australia.

“We still have a lot of big announcements to come over the next few months, including exhibitors, sponsors, entertainment, guests, features and much more. MOTO EXPO is designed around the experience for the visitor and also gives exhibitors a fresh approach to showcasing their quality products.

“When visitors enter the show they need to be excited. Engaging stands with quality products are still the main focus of exhibitions, but these events now need to offer an array of live entertainment and interactive activities to afford visitors the real experience of the motorcycle industry.”
