Honda has introduced a new, all-inclusive Ready to Ride pricing structure that will be released when its new generation of 2014 motocrossers go on sale.
Ready to Ride pricing will be inclusive of the manufacturer’s list price, pre-delivery and freight to dealer charges to ensure the customer receives a competitive deal, with no unexpected costs.
“This shift to Ready to Ride prices is a shift in focus for Honda,” explained Peter Singleton, general manager of Honda Motorcycles. “We are guaranteeing our customers competitive pricing in the most transparent way.
“We have experienced success with Ready to Ride pricing on our ATV range and are looking forward to rolling this out further with the 2014 motocross range.”
Honda’s new CRF250R will be the first 2014 motocrosser to go on sale in Australia next month. Official pricing is yet to be announced by the Japanese giant.
The 250cc class frontrunner boasts an aluminium frame, updated fork, new swingarm, new shock and linkage ratio along and Honda’s patented dual-muffler exhaust and engine advancements.
Following shortly after is the CRF450R, set for release in October.
The single-cylinder engine will deliver improved bottom-end torque thanks to new, dual fuel-injection timing and updated twin rear silencers, while revised internals in the KYB pneumatic spring for yield improved damping response for improved bump performance.
The 2014 CRF150R/RB, an ideal introduction to racing for youngsters, will attract the same Ready to Ride pricing structure when released in November.
