Entries are now open for the 2013 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championships, the biggest event on the Australasian Junior Motocross calendar set to take place from 29 September to 4 October.
The Horsham Motorcycle Club in Victoria will host the event which has already seen over 120 entries over the vast range of classes on offer for competitors.
Horsham Motorcycle Club president Kenny Watts is impressed by the strong flow of entries so far via word-of-mouth and their own AJMX Facebook advertising.
“In the two weeks since entries became available online, more than 120 entries have already been received,” said Watts. “This is fantastic considering this has only been by word-of-mouth and by following the links on our club’s AJMX Facebook Page.”
For the first time ever, the Australian Junior Motocross Championships entry system will be run through Cloud Entries, an advanced and reliable system to ensure riders secure their spot in the event.
“For the first time in the history of the Junior MX Nationals, all entries are to be made using Cloud Entries’ state of the art technology, which confirms that the entry has been received, paid for, and provides participants a reserved rider number at the time of entry,” Watts explained.
The Horsham Motorcycle Club are aiming to keep costs at a minimum with low-cost premium pit sites and a selection of free sites also available for entered competitors.
“Pit sites are also being allocated and made available to competitors who have already entered,” he added. “We want to make these very affordable, with a maximum of $200.00 for premium sites, and free sites available as well so that every kid has the opportunity to enjoy the experience of being involved at the pinnacle event in Australian Junior Motocross history.”
