While he has now taken a step forward in his recovery process, a scheduled return for Clout still remains up in the air according to Serco Yamaha team manager Michael Marty.
“Being such early stages we’re waiting to hear back from Clouty on how the surgery went,” Marty told MotoOnline.com.au. “He’s got a follow up in two weeks time with one of the Suzuki RACESAFE doctors.”
Marty confirms that Clout will certainly be sidelined for the remainder of the Motocross series and a possible Supercross return will be looked at further along in the recovery process.
“As for Motocross he’s definitely going to be out and we’ll have to wait and see if he can make a return for Supercross, but it’s not looking very promising right now,” he added.
