Motorcycling Australia has announced the talented team of young Australian Motocross riders who will represent the country at the 2013 World Junior MX Championship.
Motorcycling Australia has announced the talented team of young Australian Motocross riders who will represent the country at the 2013 World Junior MX Championship.
The 2013 event is scheduled to be held at Jinin in the Czech Republic where the world’s best junior racers will do battle on 11 August.
Six riders have been selected for the Australian team, managed by Glenn McDonald, with two riders representing the country in each of the 125, 85 and 65cc divisions.
Representing Australia in the 125cc division is Richard Evans and current Monster Energy MX Nationals MXD contender Aaron Tanti, both riders will be aboard KTMs.
In the 85cc category it will be Caleb Grothues who leads the charge, Grothues took home the 2012 65cc world title last year, joining him will be Hunter Lawrence.
Capping off the team of impressive junior racers is Rhys Budd and Bailey Malkiewicz. Both of these up and coming talents will represent Australia in the 65cc class.
