KTM have announced that team mangers Stefan Everts, Roger DeCoster and Claudio de Carli will continue their association with the brand with recent contract extensions.

KTM has announced that team mangers Stefan Everts, Roger DeCoster and Claudio de Carli will continue their association with the brand with recent contract extensions.

Over the weekend at Maggiora’s round nine of the FIM Motocross World Championship, Pit Beirer, head of KTM Motorsports, announced that the KTM racing department had extended their factory management contracts.

Everts has guided the KTM MX2 factory team to its present dominance and has been manager and mentor to talented young riders like Marvin Musquin, Ken Roczen, Jeffrey Herlings and Jordi Tixier.

Beirer believes that by signing Everts for another three years, the factory team will be able to enjoy continuity and consistency.

“We have achieved a great deal in recent seasons and our three team managers have played a major role in this success,” said Beirer. “It is a pleasure for me to announce that Stefan will be with us for another three seasons.”

Beierer also confirmed that KTM has already extended the contracts of de Carli, team manager of the MX1 factory lineup and Roger DeCoster, who manages the Red Bull KTM factory team in the USA, for another three seasons.

“With him, Claudio and Roger we have leaders of exceptional skills and we will be able to continue working on building the quality of our factory teams,” he added.

KTM currently lead both the MX1 and MX2 world championships with Antonio Cairoli and Jeffrey Herlings, while Ken Roczen leads the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship 250 Class in the US. Roczen’s teammate Ryan Dungey sits second in the 450 Class.
