Carlton Dry Honda Racing’s Josh Cachia is scheduled to be featured in the upcoming Moto 5 movie, the next instalment in the international film series.
Cachia completed filming over the past week at Carpenter Rocks in South Australia for the fifth edition of the series which was first released in 2009 by director Taylor Congdon in the US.
While filming for the highly anticipate film, the 21-year-old has continued to nurse his injured right and adapted his training regime to ensure he minimises the risk of further damage.
“I have spent quite a lot of time on the bike this past week filming for the Moto 5 movie,” said Cachia. “I adapted my program to look after my injury while still making sure I do everything possible to prepare for this weekend.”
After barely missing out on the MX2 overall at round four, Cachia is hoping to land himself on the top spot at this weekend’s Conondale round of the 2013 Monster Energy MX Nationals.
“Each week I go out to win and we came so close to an overall at the last round but I was second on a count back,” he added. “I will take the same approach into this weekend and hopefully we will get to the top step of the podium.”
Cachia currently sits fourth overall in the MX2 championship standings with six rounds of racing remaining on the 2013 Motocross schedule.
