Australian Enduro rider Mitch Harper announced via his personal Facebook page that he has been injured in a practice crash while training in the south of Sweden this week.
Australian Enduro rider Mitch Harper announced via his personal Facebook page that he has been injured in a practice crash while training in the south of Sweden this week.
Harper was training for the upcoming Spanish FIM Enduro World Championship round when his accident occurred. He now waits in hospital for surgery to stabilise damaged vertebrae’s in his back.
“Hey everyone unfortunately I had a big crash training at a motocross track in south of sweden,” said Harper. “Tomorrow I will have surgery on my back to stabilise some vertebrates, pins and screws all the good stuff.”
Harper maintains full movement throughout his body and suffered no further injuries. He also sent his best wishes fellow Aussie Toby Price who is currently dealing with a similar injury in the US.
“I have full movement and my head is still superb! Except for the helmet,” he added. “Like to thank my friends here for the help. All the best to Toby Price as well, going through a rough time at the moment.”
