Link International has announced an updated Pirelli Privateer Program with contingency benefits for competitors racing on Pirelli tyres in this year’s Pirelli MXD Monster Energy MX Nationals championship.
This contingency program sees a wider range of tyres available to riders, including the new Scorpion MX Mid Soft 32 110/85-19 designed specifically for 250 four-stroke motorcycles, and also the new Scorpion MX Mid Hard 554 range now available in this new size.
Benefits to riders in the MXD class this year include special reduced tyre pricing, a set of free tyres for the highest placed Pirelli rider at each round, and the introduction of a set of free tyres to the “Pirelli Privateer of the Round”.
This will be awarded by the Pirelli Tyre Technician attending each round by a combination of rider results, bike and rider presentation and overall sportsmanship displayed at the round. In addition there is almost $5000 Link Dollars in prize money for outright results at the end of the season.
