Motorcycle clubs around the country are putting the final touches on preparations for the 2013 National Come and Try Day, which will spring into action this weekend, 2-3 March.
The initiative will see more than 80 clubs across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia open their doors to prospective riders and volunteers.
From Griffith to Gladstone to Goshen, prospective riders of all ages and interests will be able to hit the track for a range of on-the-bike events and activities with the guidance and support of experienced riders and officials.
The scheduled events cover the full scope of motorcycle sport disciplines, including motocross, road racing, enduro, speedway, moto-trials, dirt track and quads. Find out more about the different disciplines by visiting the MA website.
All new riders will be issued with a FREE Come and Try Day Licence on the day, and will also be able to apply for a free Annual Recreational Licence or a discounted Annual Junior or Senior National Licence.
The day will also provide a great opportunity for anyone interested in motorcycling to get down to their local club and find out how to get involved in the sport as a volunteer or event official.
Visit www.ma.org.au/comeandtry for more information about the initiative and to view the full calendar of 2013 National Come and Try Day events.
National Come and Try Day is a collaborative project between Motorcycling Australia and our State Controlling Bodies.
