Multiple-time Australian champion Matt Moss has revealed that he’s yet to ink a deal for the 2013 season, but remains confident he’ll contend for whatever title he contends.
After two seasons at JDR Motorsports aboard a KTM, Moss returned home from a year in the US at the end of 2012 to rejoin Motul Pirelli Suzuki in supercross.
It was believed that deal would form the base of a full time 450 seat for this year, however that’s yet to materialise as Suzuki Australia continues to sort through an internal budget restructuring.
Contacted by MotoOnline.com.au this week for our ‘The Point: 2013 resolutions’ feature, Moss confirmed that he remains a free-agent despite the MX Nationals fast approaching.
“I still haven’t signed with a team yet and I’m waiting to see what happens there,” Moss told MotoOnline.com.au.
“As a result I’m not sure what class I’ll race yet, but whichever I line up for, I’ll definitely be going for the championship. Everything is up in the air at the moment but I’m confident it will all work out.”
Moss is currently recovering from successful arm-pump surgery that he underwent in Queensland earlier this week.
Raymond Terrace’s outdoor opener will take place on Sunday, 14 April.
