It has been confirmed that Josh Hill will join the Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Suzuki/RCH Racing team alongside Broc Tickle for the 2013 AMA supercross season aboard an RM-Z450.

After a troubled couple of seasons due to a serious leg injury suffered in 2009, Hill will be aiming to return to the level he was at before the injury and show his true potential.

“It feels great to be back with the Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Suzuki RCH Racing team this year,” said Hill. “We’ve already been putting in a lot of hard work to get to us where we need to be at Anaheim 1. I’m looking forward to a great season.”

Already spending multiple seasons with the team, team owner Carey Hart welcomes Hill back onboard for 2013 and is glad to continue supporting the long-time member.

“I am really excited to welcome Josh back for a 3rd season with the team,” said Hart. “Josh has had a tough couple of years and it wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t support him with the major progress he has made. Josh and Broc will work well with Ricky [Carmichael] and we are going to see great things from the guys this year.”

Ricky Carmichael, believes Hill has great potential and will work hard to help Josh get back to the level of racing competition he was at previously.

“I am excited to have Josh on the team,” said Carmichael. “He is still pretty young and we are looking forward to helping him get back to where he was in 2009 and getting him the results he deserves; to do that we need to keep him healthy. He has great potential and a great attitude and I look forward to working with him.”

Hill and Tickle will debut the new-look Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Suzuki RCH Racing team at round one of the 2013 AMA supercross series in Anaheim, CA on 5 January.
