The Pedders Group has expanded its involvement in Australian motorsport, announcing a top-level partnership with the new Australian Supercross Championships which continues this weekend at the Phillip Island MotoGP.
The Terex Australian Supercross Championships, brought to you by Pedders, will benefit from the broad reach of the suspension specialists’ franchise network which now has over 120 stores nation-wide.
A third-generation family company, Pedders is the recognised name in suspension, shock absorbers, brakes and general load-carrying solutions, and a true market leader.
The company’s motorsport roots began in rally before expanding to V8 Supercars, so the progression to the popular and exciting two-wheel sport of Supercross was a natural one.
“The Pedders Group is excited about our latest addition to our motorsport sponsorship portfolio,” said Pedders Group marketing manager Adam Gillick.
“Supercross fans Australia-wide have enjoyed the sport for many years and it’s our intention to support it as best we can. For us it’s about sending a positive message to the fans about our load carrying and towing solutions products.
“We manufacture our own brand of shock absorbers, air bags, heavy duty springs and specialist undercar parts, all of which are supported by our range of brakes and towbars to satisfy the most discerning motorbike rider who tows his/her bike on a trailer to their riding destination.”
A new and varied audience will see Australia’s world-class Supercross riders do battle tomorrow, with the sport featuring alongside the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix for the first time.
