POD MX has confirmed that former FIM MX2 Motocross World Champion and current Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing rider Ben Townley is now wearing the POD K700 Knee Brace.

“When I had the chance to test the POD K700 brace, I was sold instantly,” Townley explained. “For an ‘off the shelf’ brace, they fit like a custom brace on my leg. The durability of the K700 is great as well.

“In the past, I have been very hard on knee braces and this brace passes the standard for abuse, plus the inner side of the brace doesn’t damage my pants or graphics.”

Mick Sinclair, team manager for POD MX is thrilled to have a rider like Townley wearing his product.

“We’re stoked to have Ben on the team,” Sinclair said. “He approached me at round one of the MX Nationals about the brace and after I took him through the features, he was really impressed.

“Unfortunately he injured his hip and had to sit out the championship but as soon as he got back on the bike, he wore the K700 and loved it.

“It’s always great when a rider like Ben hears about our product and wants to try it out.”

The K700 ligament knee brace sets new standards in ergonomics and function. Nothing else in the market is stronger, lighter and slimmer.

Developed with feedback from professional MX, FMX and off-road riders, the POD MX K700 Knee Brace supports your knee so you can ride with confidence.

Ben joins the already very impressive list of riders who are wearing POD, including Josh Coppins, Lawson Bopping, Todd Waters, Brad Anderson, Tye Simmonds, Craig Anderson, Adam Monea, Cam Sinclair, Matt Schubring, Jackson Strong, Steven Clarke, Kale Makeham, Daniel Milner, Luke Arbon, Stefan Merriman, Chris Birch, Matt Phillips, Mitch Harper, Jarrod Bewley, Josh Green and Brad Williscroft.
