Pirelli capped off a dominant season in the MX2 class of the Monster Energy MX Nationals with a 1-2-3 finish in the championship standings.
The final round of the series last month saw Ford Dale (Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing) win the MX2 championship riding on Pirelli Scorpion MX.
In a close-fought championship that was not decided until the final round at Coolum, Dale finished on top by just two points from fellow Pirelli rider Luke Styke (Serco Metal Mulisha Yamaha), with JDR KTM rider Josh Cachia finishing third after winning Coolum.
Pirelli riders also filled eight out of the top 10 positions in the MX2 championship.
The sandy track at Coolum proved the perfect environment for the Pirelli Scorpion MX Soft 410 rear, while the ever versatile Scorpion MX Mid Soft 32 front was the front tyre of choice for the championship front-runners.
Riders and teams have now commenced testing for the upcoming Australian Supercross Championship beginning in October.
