Motorex KTM Off Road Racing team’s Toby Price, will be making an appearance at this weekend’s round eight of the Monster Energy MX Nationals series at Appin in New South Wales.
The current leader of the Australian Off-Road Championship is confident in his approach to the national round, but is well aware that his focus will remain on the off-road ranks at this point.
Price, who cut his teeth in motocross before turning to off-road, is taking advantage of a weekend off from the AORC, and looks forward to racing amongst the top MX1 class contenders in the country.
“Everything’s going really well for me off-road and in desert racing, so I thought why not jump into the motocross after the Conondale AORC round was cancelled,” Price explained.
“It’s a pretty tough field, but I would like to be top 10 and I feel confident that I can if I get a good start.”
Being an up and coming motocross star before heading into the off-road ranks, Price feels he should do well returning to his roots at Appin.
“I definitely want to do well, since I started my career in motocross, but my main priority is the off-road series for KTM,” he added. “Hopefully we have some fun and good results come.
“However if they don’t then it’s still good training and preparation for when the off-road series continues.”
Price’s return to motocross will take place this Sunday, July 29 at Appin’s Bellbird circuit in New South Wales.
