Australian Women’s Motocross Champion Meghan Rutledge has been a confirmed starter for the German round of the FIM Motocross World Championship in September.

Rutledge will ride for the Monster Energy Kawasaki Elf Team Pfeil at Teutschenthal in Germany, marking her official world championship debut with assistance from Moss Institute.

“It’s been a dream since 2004 when Greg [Moss] coached me to my win in the state titles against the boys and it’s what I’ve been training for since then,” said Rutledge, regarding her overseas opportunities.

“Moss Institute has always believed in me and I can’t wait to head to Germany with Rona [Moss] to contest the world championship round.”

Earlier this season, Rutledge made headlines worldwide with a moto win in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, as well as a stunning overall podium finish. She also claimed fourth at X Games in Los Angeles.
