Just one week out from the commencement of the second half of the MX Nationals, MX1 title contender Todd Waters continued his impressive form with a victory for Motul Pirelli Suzuki.
Waters took dual moto wins at Leyburn, heading home fellow MX1 regular Jake Moss (Campbell Mining Services/TLD/Maxima/Honda), who claimed a pair of seconds.
GYTR Yamaha’s Shaun Redhead continued his solid bout of form on a YZ450F in the Pro Open class in the Sunshine States, finishing third ahead of series leader Aden de Jager (Yamaha).
The event was held on the property of Matt Haworth, who claimed fifth overall and maintains second in the series behind de Jager.
Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing’s Ford Dale won the Pro Lites class at Haworth Park with two moto wins of his own, ahead of Victorian Kade Mosig aboard the Monster Energy Kawasaki.
Rising star Wade Hunter wrapped up the series win, finishing third overall during the round for the WRD Yamaha team. He was tied with Raceline Pirelli Suzuki’s Jay Wilson.
