Monster Energy MX Nationals regulars Todd Waters and Ford Dale continue to excel as the 2012 season progresses, picking up victories in the Coolum round of the Queensland-based Shell Advance Sunshine State Motocross Series.

Waters won both Pro Open motos on the Sunshine Coast for Motul Pirelli Suzuki in a dominant performance, now looking to take that momentum into this weekend’s third round of the nationals at Wonthaggi.

Behind Waters in the 450 class was two more national regulars in Jake Moss (Campbell Mining/TLD/Maxima/Honda) and four-time outdoor champion Jay Marmont, who was in Queensland testing last week with Monster Energy Kawasaki.

The Lites class was also swept by Dale in convincing fashion, the Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing contender back to his best following a frustrating second round of the MX Nationals at Coonabarabran the weekend prior.

All of the MX Nationals contenders will be back in action this weekend at Wonthaggi in Victoria for round three of 10 in the outdoors to be contested in 2012.
