Monster Energy MX Nationals round one winner Ben Townley is set to be the special guest on SPEED News Australia tonight.

After initially signing to ride the whole Australian MXN series in 2012, Townley has now been given the opportunity to ride on our very own Chad Reed’s TwoTwo Motorsports team in the U.S.

Townley will be a fill-in rider for injured team owner/rider Reed, contesting in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

With time to race the first two rounds of the MXN series before heading to America, the New Zealand native has already taken a convincing win at round one in Conondale, and will be heading to round two at Coonabarabran this weekend to try and repeat his dominance.
