Jeff Ward Racing has confirmed that Mackie will continue for the team in upcoming rounds of Monster Energy AMA Supercross.
Australian Cody Mackie’s dream continues, with Jeff Ward Racing’s Lucas Mirtl this morning confirming that Mackie will continue for the team in upcoming rounds of Monster Energy AMA Supercross.
Mackie has officially signed to ride for the team at both the San Diego and Dallas rounds of the series, before his longer term future will be decided after that round.
With the return of regular team rider Josh Grant to be decided week by week, Mackie has also been linked to a third Kawasaki KX450F alongside Grant and Kyle Chisholm for the season remainder.
Mackie first joined the team for the Oakland round of the series after Grant was injured in Los Angeles, qualifying for the main event and finishing a credible 16th.
Last weekend at Anaheim II, Mackie crashed while in a transfer position during the heat, before finishing fourth in the stacked LCQ.
