Australia’s Josh Strang will race selected rounds of the Grand National Cross Country series this year aboard a KTM with support from RidePG.com/Genuine Dirt Racer/WP Racing USA.

The 2010 GNCC champ, who suffered a broken leg at the end of the 2011 season, had already been confirmed for the FMF/KTM/RPM Racing team in the WORCS and Endurocross series.

“Although the WORCS series will be my primary focus, I’m excited to be riding some of the GNCC rounds this year with the help of RidePG.com/Genuine Dirt Racer/WP Racing,” said Strang.

“Right now I’m still working on getting the strength back in my leg, but hopefully I will be good to go by the time the opener rolls around.”

Strang won the GNCC championship as part of Suzuki’s factory effort in 2011, however that team officially closed its doors at the end of last season.

The GNCC series will commence on 10-13 March at the Westgate River Ranch in Florida.
