Jake Moss will step up from Serco Yamaha to the CDR Rockstar Energy Drink Yamaha team for Super X.

CDR Rockstar Energy Drink Yamaha’s latest signing Jake Moss will enter this weekend’s opening round of the Monster Energy Super X, Australasian Supercross Championship, as a certain title contender.

Now rid of the shoulder injury that affected him throughout the MX Nationals season, Moss will step up from Serco Yamaha’s Lites program to join Jay Marmont on the YZ450F at CDR.

With multiple days testing in the books and a strong pre-season riding alongside twin brother Matt, Jake is hopeful that he can improve upon his third place finish in the series from last year.

“From the first day on the Yamaha, I felt good and the bike was great,” Moss said. “We have since done a series of tests and every time we have made big improvements to the bike and now it’s one of the best race bikes I have had.”

Moss enjoyed a breakthrough win at Sydney’s penultimate round in 2010, looking to build on that momentum heading into the new season.
