Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing’s Cheyne Boyd is certain that he’s ticked all the boxes in the lead-up to this year’s Monster Energy Super X, Australasian Supercross Championship.
Coming off a frustrating season outdoors, Boyd will enter Melbourne’s season opener this weekend with a fresh new outlook after a few months preparing and testing for Super X.
“I had a week off and then got straight back into testing and riding after setting up my Supercross track,” said Boyd.
“The bike feels really good which was my main priority. I wanted to get my bike setup well and running how I wanted it before the first Super X round which I believe I have done.”
Boyd missed much of last year’s Super X series through injury, now focused on a competitive comeback season.
On a one-year deal with Honda, Boyd’s future could hinge on his performance during Super X over the next five weekends.
