Up and coming American talent Gavin Faith will contest the Monster Energy Super X, Australasian Supercross Championship, for Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing in the Pro Lites category.
Faith, 19, will ride the five-round Super X season for Honda Australia’s official factory team, impressing team boss Yarrive Konsky while he was in the U.S. earlier this month.
The team will build a pair of Honda CRF250Rs for Faith in the States for him to compete aboard during Super X.
It’s expected that Faith will arrive in Australia just a couple of weeks prior to the series opener in Melbourne on 22 October.
Faith has proven a top amateur level rider in America in recent seasons with support from American Honda, training at the Millsaps Training Facility (MTF).
It’s also been confirmed today that Joey Savatgy will join Raceline Pirelli Suzuki for the Under 19s division during Super X this season.
