New Zealand native and Australian motocross series regular Cody Cooper is working hard before the Fermo Grand Prix this weekend, the final round of the MX1 FIM Motocross World Championship series.
After being drafted into the Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1 team to replace an injured Clement Desalle for the final two rounds of the world series, Cooper finished 26th overall last weekend at Gaildorf, Germany, in his first race since completing the Australian MX Nationals series.
“The plan for the week is to try and ride some hard-pack and do some big motos! I’m not going to get race fit in one week. I pushed hard in the last three weeks but before that I was on a break,” Cooper commented after Gaildorf.
With a round of GP experience now under his belt and time to get some more testing and training in on the works RM-Z450, expect some more improvement from the talented Kiwi this weekend!
