To represent Antonio Cairoli’s fifth World Championship, it has been announced that the Italian Red Bull Teka KTM Factory Racing pilot will compete the 2012 season with a golden number plate.

The red number plate will continue to be presented to and used by the leader of the championship. If the series leader is a rider other than Cairoli, the rider will use the red plate, if Cairoli is leading the World Championship, he will receive the red plate on the podium, but will continue to race with the golden number plate with a red angle within gold background.
