Hart and Huntington will field a team in the Monster Energy Super X, Australasian Supercross Championship, this season, confirming American Chris Blose as the team’s lead rider.
Blose this season finished 13th in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, riding for the Dodge Motorsports/Hart and Huntington Kawasaki team.
The highlight for Blose was a solid fourth place finish at Las Vegas’ season finale, the Hart and Huntington team’s home round.
Speculation has been mounting in recent months that Hart and Huntington would be fielding a team through Australian distributors Airstyle Imports, which confirmed the news via Facebook recently.
It’s expected that the team will be supported by Hart and Huntington and Australian motorcycle insurance company InsureMyRide. Like the AMA team, Blose and co. will be on Kawasaki machinery.
Blose will be the team’s guest rider from the U.S, joined by relatively unknown Victorian Chris Camilleri in the Pro Open class.
A surprise confirmation has come in the form of Pro Lites rider Luke Urek, who was a top junior in Australia before switching to Freestyle early in his career. Urek will make a shock comeback to racing for Super X this season.
Stay tuned for further information as it’s confirmed over the coming weeks.
