Yamaha Motor Australia has announced a price reduction for Yamaha Genuine Parts and Accessories.

With assistance from Yamaha Motor Company Japan and also taking advantage of improved exchange rates, Yamaha Motor Australia Parts & Accessories Division has today announced a price reduction program aimed at encouraging customers to keep their business local.

Effective from 31 July 2011, Yamaha has reduced over 1200 original equipment parts for its most popular models by 25 percent. These models include 2010-2011 YZ125/250, YZ250F/450F, WR250F/450F from the off-road range.

Price reductions are now current and will be reviewed at the end of December 2011. Some parts from these models will carry over to older models that pre-date the model years quoted.

Also included in the price reductions are Yamaha Genuine Brake Pads which have been reduced significantly in retail price across the range of all models to ensure market competiveness.

Customers can now purchase genuine disc pads at their local dealer from around the $52.00 mark for off-road models and $72.00 for road disc pads.

Simultaneously Yamaha Motor Australia have reduced approximately 93 percent of its Genuine Accessory range provided by overseas Yamaha affiliate companies.
