Motorex KTM Off Road Racing’s Jarrod Bewley says he’ll be back stronger than ever when the Australian Four Day Enduro takes place in Victoria next August, 2012.
Bewley, who won the A4DE Outright in 2009, finished second in the E3 class on his 300 EXC two-stroke, which was enough to seal eighth Outright for the 2011 running of the A4DE last week in Mackay.
Fresh from podium finishes in both the Finke and Hattah desert races aboard big-bore thumpers, Bewley had little time to readjust to the two-stroke, and admitted that the A4DE trails did suit four-strokes more so than his large capacity two-stroke.
“I always like to win, but I tried my best on the two-stroke on a track that definitely seemed to suit the four-strokes a lot more,” Bewley reflected.
“I can’t complain about the bike though, it didn’t miss a beat and I’ll be back next year gunning for the class win and a better Outright position.”
The E3 category was this year taken out by 18-year-old Yamaha talent Matt Phillips.
