JDR Motorex KTM’s Matt Moss has credited consistency for his fourth overall Pro Lites win in the Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals yesterday at Wodonga.

Moss extended his lead in the championship chase after taking victory in Victoria, now maintaining a comfortable 58-point lead in the standings with just two rounds remaining.

The talented 23-year-old finished with 3-3-2-2 results on Sunday, good enough to capture the overall despite not even winning a moto.

“It feels really good to win and consistency is so important in this championship,” Moss explained. “My starts weren’t so great today, although I did hurt my shoulder in moto two.

“The bike was working awesome though and those two second places to finish the weekend were really good. Extending my series lead was the plan and we were able to do that.”

The result for Moss made it his fourth victory in seven attempts since joining JDR Motorex KTM for 2011, adding the Wodonga win to his success at Broadford, Appin and Raymond Terrace earlier this year.
