Husqvarna Enduro Racing team’s Bartosz Oblucki is feeling confident going into this weekend’s round three and four of the Australian Off Road Championships at Hedley, Victoria.
The European import, who is racing his first season in Australia, spent some time in Europe during the break after rounds one and two, is excited to be back on Australian soil and is feeling good about his on bike form.
“First of all I am delighted to be back in Australia,” Oblucki mentioned.
“During my stay back in Europe I raced a few times in the Spanish championship against the top European riders. I was really pleased with my speed improving each race, especially at the last one where I was very competitive in the overall ranking.”
Oblucki and the team have also made some improvements with the bike, furthering his confidence for a strong result this weekend.
“Since arriving on Gold Coast, my race technician Freddie Sheene and I have improved the TE 310 and the bike is right on the pace as a race package. I am really looking forward to the upcoming race. If the conditions are good, I am very confident in my chances for the outright victory,” Oblucki stated.
Oblucki currently sits second the E2 class title chase coming into rounds three and four, only seven points behind series leader, Ballard Yamaha rider Chris Hollis.
