Frenchman Christophe Pourcel continued his search for a seat in the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship on Thursday, testing with the Valli Motorsports Rockstar Energy Yamaha team.
After testing with GEICO Powersports Honda at Pala on Wednesday, Pourcel was spotted riding at Perris Raceway in California the following day with the Yamaha-supported Valli team.
Pourcel narrowly missed out on the 250 Class championship in the outdoors last season when he was injured at Pala’s season finale, that title going the impressive 450 rookie Trey Canard.
With Pourcel missing out on a seat for supercross after failing to reach an agreement with any teams, it’s clear that he’s determined to make up for lost time come the outdoor season.
Hangtwon’s season opener will take place in Northern California toward the later stages of next month.
