Current MX2 Motocross World Championship number five Joel Roelants says he’s enjoying his experience at Sydney’s sixth round of the Monster Energy Super X, Australasian Supercross Championship.
The Belgian is contesting the final two rounds for Coastal KTM and is settling on nicely despite suffering a wrist injury in practice during the week.
“I am just riding and trying to have fun at the moment, although it is not going good because I injured my wrist this week,” Roelants said.
“I practiced one day and hurt my wrist, but I am trying to have fun and not think about the pain. I just have to ride.”
Roelants’ wrist is heavily strapped for tonight’s proceedings, setting the 10th quickest time during qualifying this afternoon in the Lites class.
