The biggest names in FMX are making their way to Melbourne this week for the next epic instalment of the Crusty Demons Thirst 4 Destruction Tour.
Rod Laver Arena will be converted to dirt for the 30 October show which will feature the world’s biggest tricks thrown down by a lineup of the action sport’s most legendary.
Directed by the award-winning duo of David Atkins and Ignatius Jones, the new tour sees the Crusty Demons soar to even greater heights.
The list of international riders read like the who’s who of the freestyle motocross movement.
Back-to-back X Fighters World Champion Nate Adams joins the godfather of FMX Mike Metzger, Dew Tour World Champion Adam Jones, distance jump world record holder Seth Enslow, X Games medallists Taka Higashino and Mike Mason and many more.
The Aussie contingent is just as strong. Jackson Strong will be aiming to land a second consecutive front flip indoors after a successful attempt of the gravity-defying trick brought the Adelaide crowd to its feet at last week’s show.
The spotlight will also be on Kain Saul, who will attempt another of his trademark Harley-Davidson backflips.
Emma McFerran, Australia’s first female FMX rider, will get the chance to show her skills in front of her home crowd for the first time.
Victorians will also get the opportunity to see 6-year-old Jasyn Roney in action alongside his hero, Seth Enslow.
Roney made national headlines after authorities prevented him from jumping during the show, but agreed to let him ride onto the dirt much to the delight of the crowd.
The two-hour show delves into the history of the Crusty Demons, with Robbie Maddison in the role of co-MC while recovering from a wrist injury.
Over 2500 blasts of fireworks and flames add to the atmosphere created by an incredible set featuring wrecked and rusted cars and a bar made from scrap metal.
Tickets are still available to this weekend’s Rod Laver Arena show and can be purchased online at www.ticketek.com.au or by phoning 132 849.
