Alex Gobert’s Road Race Performance Academy will conduct a rider training school at the Broadford State Motorcycle Sports Complex in Victoria on 15 May, returning to the venue following a wet, but successful, school at the end of last year.

RRPA continues to grow from strength to strength in its inaugural year of rider training, with Gobert and his team of coaches managing to attract a magnificent number of participants in recent events as the course continues to gain recognition.

Broadford’s school will feature former Australian Superbike and Supersport Champions Adam Fergusson and Shannon Johnson, with Johnson proving his might around the technical Broadford circuit by taking victory and scoring a new lap record at the opening round of the Victorian Road Race Titles last weekend.

Further strengthening RRPA’s program is the addition of Jordan Burgess to the coaching line up, the Teterin Motosport Honda rider who finished on the podium at the opening round of the Australian Superstock 1000 Championship in Tasmania earlier this month.

Participants in the full programs will undergo classroom theory sessions where they’ll learn invaluable techniques that will include preparation, cornering, body position, braking, throttle control, shifting, and vision.

Personalised feedback that is guaranteed to improve your riding will be given as RRPA’s dedicated group of coaches will ride on track with each group, providing influential feedback at the completion of each and every session.

Participants will be able to take part in the Level 1 or Level 2 full programs (classroom theory and on-track sessions) for $275.00, while Junior road racers are included at the Broadford school for the reduced rate of $200.00.

The RRPA program prices include a 10 page course information booklet designed for participants to use as a refresher the next time you ride at the track or on the road – the book features an outline of the techniques taught on the day.

Drinks and light snacks including fruit will be available throughout the day, and merchandise will also be for sale for those who want to take home memories of their day at RRPA.

RRPA’s curriculum has been developed to attract all abilities of riders, with everybody from first time ride day riders to aspiring professional racers invited, giving many riders around Australia the opportunity to improve their riding skills for more efficient and safer riding.
