You'd be smiling too if you were the winner of a Jay Marmont replica Yamaha YZ450F!

Father and son duo David and Daniel Gallagher from Carindale in Queensland have won the Jay Marmont team CDR Rockstar Yamaha YZ450F offered as a prize on FUEL TV.

The timing of the giveaway was perfect, happening as it did just after Marmont scooped his third Australian MX Nationals title in a row on the revolutionary new YZ450F.

The winning entry was a team effort with 14-year- old Daniel describing his favourite FUEL TV show in 25 words or less and entering the comp in his dad’s name with this entry.

“Red Bull X Fighters is Xtreme, Xciting, Xotic, and Xceptionally unXpected, with an Xperience like no other moto show on FUEL,” he wrote.

The pair picked up their prize – a 2010 model YZ450F kitted with a whole range of go faster bits as used by team CDR Rockstar Yamaha’s triple Australian MX Champion Jay Marmont – from local dealer Pro Yamaha.

“He was absolutely thrilled to win the bike,” said 55-year-old David. “He’s only been riding six months but is super keen on dirt bikes. His old 150cc bike has now been donated to his younger brother, so both are happy now.”
