Entries are now open and filling quickly for the third and final round of the 2010 The Helmet Warehouse NSW MX Championships, powered by High Roller Energy at Lake Macquarie MBC on 9-11 July.
Following an action-packed stop at Port Macquarie’s Hastings Valley club over the long-weekend, interest and hype surrounding the series finale at Lakes, in less than three-weeks time, is at an all-time high – also coinciding with the opportunity to get some race practice under rider’s belts in the lead-up to the Australian Junior Motocross Championships in September.
Places are limited, so riders have until Thursday, 24 June, to get their entries in and avoid missing out on what will be one of the biggest weekends of motocross in NSW’s history.
Round three at Lakes will also double as an official Cancer Council Call To Arms event, where riders will be asked to wear a supplied yellow armband during racing, to raise awareness of men’s cancer across Australia.
Motorcycling NSW is a proud supporter of the Cancer Council and its Call To Arms events (founded by the Essendon Football Club) is a fantastic Australia-wide initiative that is sure to reach many whose lives have been touch by cancer in one way or another.
