MotoOnline.com.au is live this week at the launch of the 2011 model KTM motocross models, the highlighted model being the all-new revolutionary 350 SX-F.
The test is being held at the Macarthur District Motorcycle Club at Appin in New South Wales, and after a full day of testing yesterday, we can confirm that the middleweight missile is all it’s been hyped up to be.
KTM has brought out 10-time world champion and grand prix legend Stefan Everts for the launch, while JDR Motorex KTM domestic team riders Tye Simmonds and Ryan Marmont are also lapping it up.
A second day of testing is being completed as we speak, so check back this evening for a First Ride test of the 350 to check out our first impressions in a sneak peek before the full test is posted.
The full Launch Test will be posted in the coming weeks, where you can get the inside scoop on the 350 SX-F, as well as the 250 SX-F and 450 SX-F – all featuring a brand new chassis that features linkage, as well as fuel injected engine (except for the 450) for the first time in the Austrian manufacturer’s history on the leading four-stroke models.
Along with our written Launch Test, our launch coverage will include technical and action films, a special with Simmonds on how to get the best out of a 350, as well as interviews with Everts and KTM Australia’s Jeff Leisk, himself an ex-GP legend.
