Jay Marmont will headline the NSW Motocross titles at Port Macquarie this weekend.

Final preparations are in full-swing as the 2010 The Helmet Warehouse NSW Motocross Championships, presented by High Roller Energy, rolls into Port Macquarie this long-weekend for round two of the growing series.

Following a bumper opening round in Wollongong in April, round two is shaping-up as one of the biggest rounds in NSW motocross history with entries again topping 550, some of those being the biggest stars in the sport.

Included in the massive line-up will be Jay and Ryan Marmont, Lawson Bopping, Cody Mackie, Luke Styke, Danny Ham, Luke George, off-road front-runner Josh Ballard and current Lites class leader Michael Addison, all adding to the build up and the atmosphere when Port Macquarie’s Hastings Valley circuit comes to life.

Despite the heavy rainfall that has blanketed most parts of the East Coast in recent weeks, the Hastings Valley club has worked incredibly hard and done a wonderful job to present a circuit that is in top shape heading into the round.

Spectator entry is just a gold coin donation and there will be plenty of food and drinks available across the weekend, so too official event merchandise, gear and accessories via series sponsor, The Helmet Warehouse, who will be on-site on Saturday and Sunday with big savings on 2010 Fox gear and apparel, as well as tear-offs and accessories.

For any info about the Port Macquarie region, including accommodation, log onto www.portmacquarieinfo.com.au or for more details about the event, log onto www.motorcycling.com.au or call MNSW on (02) 9635 9177.

The Hastings Valley MCC is located on Cowarra Access Rd, just off the Pacific Hwy before the Port Macquarie turn-off (17km past Kew). Signs will be posted at the turn-off.
